The Seajet Shogun 033 Antifoul has been awarded the “Best on Test” by Practical Boat Owner magazine, as a testament for the quality self-polishing antifoul for yachts and motorboats up to 40 knots.
This antifoul is suitable for high fouling areas and with excellent all round performance. The Seajet Shogun 033 Antifoul was designed to last for a long time with only a few coats, and as such 3 coats will last up to 2 seasons. This antifoul can generally be applied directly over most previous coatings, however if in doubt, check the Seajet Antifoul Compatibility Chart.

Existing Antifoul (good condition)
- Check the Seajet Antifoul Compatibility Chart.
- If compatible, apply direct.
- If the antifoul is not compatible or is unknown, apply a barrier coat of Seajet Underwater Primer (015).
Existing Antifoul (poor condition)
- Remove antifouling.
- Antifouling should only be wet sanded or chemical stripped.
- Never burn-off or dry sand old antifouling
- Ensure the surface is dry and free of contamination.
- Degrease if required.
GRP & Steel
- Sand with P100 abrasive paper.
- Remove all dust.
- Apply Seajet Underwater Primer (015) or Seajet 117.
Wood
- Sand with P100 abrasive paper.
- Remove all dust.
- Apply Seajet Underwater Primer (015).
