- Use the standard size sandpaper sheet of 225 x 275mm (9 x 11").
- Cut the sandpaper into four strips.
- With the abrasive side exposed, wrap the sandpaper around the bottom of the block.
- Lift the top of the sanding block to expose metal spikes.
- Put the spikes into the cut sheet of sandpaper..
- Press the top down to secure the sandpaper.
- When sanding, use a back and dorth motion to avoid tearing the paper.
