The McMurdo and Kannad EPIRB Battery Change Service is a Return-to-Base Service we offer via our sister company Spares Marine for the following units:
McMurdo Smartfind E5, Smartfind G5, Kannad Sport, Kannad Sport Plus, Kannad Sport Pro and Kannad Sport Pro Plus EPIRBs.
The Process
- Add this item to your basket and check out
- Spares Marine will then contact you with the address to send your EPIRB
- Upon receipt, your EPIRB will receive a full inspection
- Batteries, plastic dome and seals are all renewed
- Battery label replaced showing new expiry date
- Your EPIRB is then returned by Registered Mail to the shipping address entered at checkout
The typical turn around time for this servicing varies from as little as 24 hours, to up to 1 - 2 weeks. For urgent servicing, please Contact Us prior to placing the order.
Units can also be dropped off and returned into one of our 4 locations, however this can add an extra 1 - 2 working days.
