International Toplac Plus 750ml - All Colours
The International Toplac Plus is a silicone alkyd based premium gloss yacht topcoat for all substrates above the waterline. The Toplac Plus is an improvement it's predecessor, with increased aesthetics in terms of DOI (Dinstinction Of Image) and flow, while also eliminating the need for tipping when using a roller. This paint is easy to apply by roller without the need for tipping.
The International Toplac Plus features UV features for increased durability and reduced fade from UV exposure. The new formula has a unique chemical structure that allows for superior definition and durability, without sacrificing flow characteristics or ease of application.

Previously Painted (good condition)
- Wash down with a suitable detergent.
- Rinse with fresh water & allow to dry.
- Abrade with 280-320 grade abrasive paper.
- Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting & wiping.
- If wiping with solvent, allow to dry completely.
Previously Painted (poor condition)
- Remove all previous coatings.
- Prime the substrate.
Bare Wood
- Sand smooth with 80-180 grade abrasive paper.
- Remove sanding dust by brushing, dusting & wiping.
- If wiping with solvent, allow to dry completely.
Steel
- Degrease with solvent or International Super Cleaner.
- Gritblast to 2½ - near white metal surface.
- If gritblasting is not possible, grind the metal with 24-36 grit abrasive discs.
- Use angle grinder on small areas.
- Clean thoroughly & allow to dry.
Aluminium
- Degrease with solvent or International Super Cleaner.
- Sand well using aluminium compatible 60-120 grade abrasive paper.
- Clean thoroughly & allow to dry.
- Prime with One UP as soon as possible (within 8 hours).
GRP
- Degrease with solvent or International Super Cleaner.
- Sand well using 180-220 grade abrasive paper.
- Clean thoroughly & allow to dry.
Aged/Weathered Gelcoats
- Apply 3 coats of International Interprotect.
- Once dry, overcoat with One UP prior to topcoat application.
