The International Thinners No.3 is suitable for antifouling paints (except for Micron® Optima and VC® products), bottom coatings and other special paints. It’s also used to help spray on our one-part varnishes and finishes. It is recommended to keep thinining to a minimum, as over-thinning can cause your paint job to be ruined.

As a general rule, thinning is not normally necessary provided that the paint is properly mixed. However, if the paint is being applied to a low film thickness or if the paint has become too thick from something such as cold weather, then follow the datasheet on the product to obtain the required constitency most suitable for application.
Applying the thinner to the paint is simple, add the required amount (not exceeding what is specified on the datasheet) and ensure that it is thoroughly stirred/mixed.
