The International Perfection Undercoat is a two part poly-urethane undercoat that is suitable for all finished and is designed to be the ideal base for a long lasting scheme when used with the International Perfection Finish (available in a wide range of colours). This undercoat was designed to ensure an easy application process, and as such is fast drying and easy to sand.

Please Note: Do not apply over conventional paints or flexible constructions. Not suitable for permanently immersed surfaces.
Previously Painted (good condition)
- Wash down with International Super Cleaner.
- Rinse with fresh water & allow to dry.
- Abrade with 280-320 grit sandpaper.
Previously Painted (bad condition)
- Remove all previous coatings.
- Prime the substrate.
Bare Wood
- Prime with International UCP Primer for Wood.
Steel
- Prime with International Interprotect.
Aluminium
- Pre-prime using International Etch Primer.
- Prime with International Interprotect.
GRP
- Wash down with International Super Cleaner.
- Rinse with fresh water & allow to dry.
- Abrade with 180-220 grit sandpaper.
- Add curing agent & mix thoroughly.
- Leave for 10 minutes for the bubbles to disperse.
- Apply 1 to 2 coats in dry, well ventilated conditions.
- To give extra depth of colour, Perfection finish colours may be added to the undercoat.
- When applying with a roller, smooth off with a brush or pad.
